About Optometry Clinical Conference

Optometry Clinical Conference
Event Theme: Today, Tomorrow, Together

A New Era in Learning and Networking

Building on the success of SRC and O=MEGA, a new era in optometry education has arrived.

The Optometry Clinical Conference is a proud collaboration between OVSA, OQNT and OTas, and now stands as the premier event in the Optometry Australia conference calendar, offering an unmatched experience for optometrists nationwide.

This year, the conference replaces what would have been O=MEGA, ushering in a new chapter of professional development and networking. Proudly supported by our Event Partner, HOYA, the Optometry Clinical Conference is set to be one of the standout events of the year.

Attendees can expect a comprehensive educational program featuring a mix of:

• Keynote presentations
• Full length lectures
• Hands on skills workshops
• Case based discussions

The highly anticipated workshops will focus on practical skills development, offering delegates the opportunity to refine techniques and explore innovative approaches in clinical care.

Our keynote speaker will be Dr Lila Landowski, neuroscientist, lecturer at the University of Tasmania and Vice President of Science and Technology Australia. Known for her work in stroke research, fatigue and nerve regeneration, Dr Landowski is a powerful science communicator who brings complex topics to life with clarity and impact. Her session will explore how neuroscience and innovation are shaping the future of healthcare.

We’re also proud to feature an outstanding speaker lineup, including:
🔹 Professor Jamie Craig
🔹 Professor Robyn Guymer
🔹 Professor Celia Chen
