Twelve $500 bursaries now available to support OVSA Members to attend Optometry Clinical Conference 2025

Optometry Victoria South Australia (OVSA) is pleased to offer twelve $500 bursaries to support members attending the 2025 Optometry Clinical Conference.

These bursaries are designed to help cover the cost of travel and accommodation for members across Victoria and South Australia, with particular focus on those in regional and rural areas.

Why Apply?

We understand how valuable face-to-face learning, connection, and collaboration can be, but we also know that costs can build up. That's why we're committed to supporting our members with bursaries that make attendance more accessible, particularly for those living or working in regional and rural areas. Successful applicants will also be able to register at Early Bird prices, providing additional savings.

Who Can Apply?

Any OVSA member who needs travel and stay overnight to attend the conference is eligible, with priority given to those based in regional and rural areas of Victoria and South Australia. Applications will be reviewed based on need, with bursaries distributed fairly across both Victoria and South Australia.

Members are encouraged to review the Terms and Conditions and apply today by emailing a 100–150 word statement to policy@optometry.org.au that includes:

• Which aspect of the Optometry Clinical Conference you're most excited about — whether it's the interactive skills workshops, the cutting-edge clinical keynotes, or joining the Optometry Clinical Conference Pub Choir.

• Your current location (city/town and state) to help ensure fair distribution across Victoria and South Australia.
